WMOC trainings

Trainings are open from 27th March to 19th May and from 20th July to 1st of August. Other times can be agreed separately.

Price and payment

WMOC trainings 8 €/ 1-10 maps, 11th or more 6 €/ map. Postal cost at least 5 €. Payment to the organising club.

Map orders

To order maps, please send an email to the contact person mentioned. You can order all WMOC trainings at the same time. Please also write the desired map scale. Send your order well in advance in order to post the maps in time. No OCAD/PDF -files can be mailed.

1. WMOC training ”long distance” Palovuori, Lieto

Map: Ari Salonen 2019 (checking 2024), 1: 10 000 and 1:7 500 /5m

Course: 5,4 km or shorter, control flags, startflag, no flag at finish. Start 0,9 km.

2. WMOC training ”long distance” Paijula, Nousiainen

Map: Ari Salonen 2021 (checking 2024), 1: 10 000 and 1:7 500 /5m

Course: 6,2 km or shorter, control flags, startflag, no flag at finish. Start 0,6 km.

3. WMOC training ”middle distance” Suojala, Sauvo

Map: Eero-Antti Lonka 2019 (updated by Paimion Rasti 2024), 1: 10 000 or 1:7 500 /5m. Distance to the WMOC middle final terrain is only 3 km.

Courses: 2,2 km and 5,6 km, control flags.

Course setter: Henri Kalve

Parking: Suojala, Järvenkyläntie 166, Sauvo. Distance to the start 0,6 km or 0,9 km.

4. WMOC training ”middle distance” Tätilä, Paimio

Map: Jussi Silvennoinen 2014 (updated by Paimion Rasti 2023), 1:7 500 or 1:10 000 /5m. The terrain is very similar to the terrain in the WMOC middle final.

Course: 5,2 km or shorter, control flags.

Course setter: Jere Sipponen

Parking: Neste Paimio, Ajurintie 1, Paimio or YksYkkönen area, Energiatie (please park in such a way that other vehicles are able to pass your car!). The area is very close to the exit number 11 from the motorway 1. Distance to the start 0,6 km.

5. WMOC training ”middle distance” Pääskyvuori, Turku

Map: Anton Kuukka 2019, 1:7 500 /5m. A nice forest near Turku.

Course: 5,1 km or shorter, control flags.

Course setter: Jarmo Jerkku

Parking: Marked on the map, Huhtakuja 1. Distance to the start 0,3 km.

6. WMOC training ”sprint” Yo-kylä, Turku

Map: Eero-Antti Lonka and Kari Lehto 2019 (updated by 2023), 1: 3 000 /2m.

Courses: 3,9 km and 2,3 km, control red ribbon or tape

Course setter: Juho Rajaniemi (same as WMOC sprint Final)
